Scientists in Uganda from the Mbarara University of Science and Technology and Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital are conducting a large pediatric study to advance the diagnostic of meningitis among children in the rural western region of Uganda. This short documentary tells their story and why their cutting-edge research is important to save children's lives.

This research is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, Holy Innocents Children's Hospital Uganda, Epicentre Uganda, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and SciLifeLab in Stockholm, Sweden.
